I am sorry to announce that this will be my only Mikey @ The Movies blog. I've decided that movies are not as important in my life as I may think they are. Yes, I will continue to see movies but I will no longer post my reviews. The reviews have taken a huge chunk out of my personal life, as well as the 179 movies I saw this past year. I used any ounce of free time I had to watch movies and post reviews and my life suffered from it. Next year I only plan to see a max of 50 movies. I'm also dropping most of my TV shows so I can free up more time for myself.
I just wanted to send a thank you to all of you who read my reviews. Thank you for taking the time to read them and comment. This may not be end for Mikey @ The Movies, I may just need a year break. I may even post my end of the year awards for 2009, I don't know yet. But again, my thanks goes out to you and happy movies to you all!

Farewell man. Hopefully you can have more time for yourself now. The blog was great with in-depth reviews of films. Some of the best I've read on the web. Really enjoyed them.

Thank you guys, I really appreciate that! Movies have always been a passion of mine as well as writing. I know I'm no expert writer, but I tried my best. So I thank you for your kind words! I may be back in 2010, I just need a little break this coming year. I didn't know seeing so many movies could warp my mind.
But I shall continue reading your blogs as I still need good input on films! Thanks again and have a great New Year!
